Make your own special Holiday Snow globe! I am making one for my friend Jingles ♥
A great holiday gift that kids can make is a DIY Snow Globe!
It's fun, creative, and a keepsake that anyone would love. ♥
DIY Snow Globe Materials:
Small clear jar (like a mason jar)
Waterproof figurines or small toys (like animals, trees, or characters)
Glitter (for snow)
Glycerin (optional, it makes the glitter float more slowly)
Water
Hot glue (with adult supervision)
Ribbon or paint to decorate the jar
Instructions:
Choose the Figurine: Pick a small waterproof toy or object to be the center of your snow globe.
Glue It: With help from an adult, hot glue the figurine to the inside of the jar’s lid.
Fill the Jar: Fill the jar with water, leaving a little space at the top. Add a few drops of glycerin to make the glitter fall more slowly.
Add Glitter: Sprinkle a small amount of glitter into the water to create the “snow.”
Assemble: Screw the lid (with the glued figurine) back onto the jar. Make sure it's tightly sealed!
Decorate: Tie a ribbon around the lid, add a label or paint the jar to add extra holiday cheer.
Now.. shake it, see the glitter swirling around the figurine, like a winter wonderland.
