Good Morning! From BinG the Very Excited Elf!

Good Morning! From BinG the Very Excited Elf!

It’s me, BinG the Elf, popping in with 44 jingling bells, three marshmallows in my pocket, and a very important announcement:

IT’S ALMOST HOLIDAY EXTRAVAGANZA PARADE MORNING!

I just skipped through downtown Pontiac and WOW—floats shining, bands tuning, lights twinkling, and one squirrel wearing a tiny Santa hat.

Santa’s here early too—he said he’s “just checking the route,” but I definitely saw him sneaking a donut and some hot cocoa.

So grab your mittens, call your favorite humans, and come join the merriness! I’ll be there with all my ELF friends.

Let’s make Pontiac sparkle!

Why Santa Is So Magical!

Why Santa Is So Magical!

Santa isn’t just about presents — he’s about believing in joy, kindness, and wonder! His magic isn’t in his sleigh or flying reindeer (though those are pretty cool ), it’s in the way he brings people together, spreads cheer, and reminds us to give from the heart .

Every time we share a smile, help someone in need, or believe in something bigger than ourselves… that’s Santa’s real magic at work!

Be your-ELF!

Be your-ELF!

Being called silly can feel different depending on how it’s said.

When it’s said with kindness, it can feel warm and joyful—that’s when someone sees your playful spirit, your creativity, and your ability to make others smile. It can mean you’re fun, lighthearted, and unafraid to be yourself.

But sometimes, being called silly can sting a little. It might make you feel like people don’t take you seriously or don’t see how much heart you put into things.

For me BinG an elf —or anyone with a big, bright spirit—being called silly is really a reminder that joy is a kind of courage. It takes bravery to laugh, to play, and to keep shining even if and when others don’t understand you.

So take it from ME, BinG.. always, always, no matter what..

Be your-ELF!

“BinGs Totally Tropical Vacation”

“BinGs Totally Tropical Vacation”

Hi! It’s me, BinG, your favorite Elf.. ♥♥ I am so excited for this year’s Holiday Extravaganza. Can you believe it’s almost been a year! What have you all been doing?
Did you go on any vacations?

For me, BinG, I did… after wrapping presents and spilling glitter again and again, (seems to be something I do) I decided to take my first vacation to the BEACH!

I packed my suitcase — with all my elf jingle jangle… and took off on an airplane!! Oh Boy!! That was fun!!

I flew South! Well because, my bird friends always do in the winter.. and I really wanted to see why they loved the beach so much.. except, when I got there, the heat hit me, “Whoa!” IT WAS HOT!! I felt like a melted marshmallow.

My first thought was “Where’s all the snow?!”

I learned, to my surprise, there was NO SNOW at the beach.
BinG, ME.. I was confused, why would there not be snow? I didn’t understand.. but..
I tried to blend in — which is hard when you’re wearing striped stockings, pointy shoes, and a hat with jungle bells.
It was not beach attire... Kids stared. Seagulls followed me. Someone even asked if I was part of a new Christmas movie? I felt so silly, because…

I’m an ELF!! From the NORTH POLE!

I needed to relax and pull my elf together. So, I laid out my towel (covered in reindeer), slathered on sunscreen, accidentally squirted half the bottle into my shoes. Oh MY! I was very slippery, so, I went swimming. To rinse off.  In the OCEAN! And realized it was salt?

SALT!!! My jingle bells are now rusted, and my floatie — shaped like Santa’s sleigh — got stuck on a HUGE wave and somehow surfed me, BinG, right back to shore.. Suddenly, I was covered in sand.. UUGH!

But everything got better when I saw a sign for “Ice Cream!” I ran as fast as my little elf feet would go and I ordered an ice cream cone… chocolate chip mint! My favorite!! except it melted before I made it back to my reindeer towel.

“This never happens at the North Pole!”

By the end of the trip, me, BinG, the North Pole, COLD weathered elf.. reminded my-elf, Oh how I loved WINTER! I had sunburned knees, sandy socks, and a new nickname: “The Christmas Coconut.”
